Accessing Eton College

The Teaching & Learning Summit will take place at:
Jafar Hall, Eton College
Windsor, Berkshire

Parking for about 60 cars will be available will be available behind the Jafar Hall and will be signposted. Delegates are encouraged to come by train either to Slough (a 5-minute taxi ride away) or via Windsor and Eton Riverside (a 10-minute walk).

While Eton College welcomes disabled visitors, many of the buildings are old and aren’t always accessible. If this is a concern for you, please get in touch with us and we will see what we can do to facilitate your visit.

Who is the Teaching and Learning Summit for?
The Teaching and Learning Summit is for any educator interested in professional development. The talks from the day will speak to any education professional, from classroom teachers to Headteachers, and provide many strategies, ideas and new knowledge.

How can I register to attend the Teaching and Learning Summit?
Due to Covid restrictions, we are currently operating at reduced capacity to allow for social distancing, but have a limited number of tickets available, which you can book on this page.

I cannot attend the Summit in person, is it possible to attend online?
We are looking into the possibility of streaming or recording the event, but cannot make any promises at the moment.

Who can apply for subsidised tickets?
We have a number of subsidised tickets (£49+VAT) for educators from schools that would find the full ticket price challenging to meet. However, as we are currently sold out, you cannot apply for subsidised tickets.

Which books can I choose from to have in my goodie bag?
One free book written by one of our speakers will be in the goodie bag you receive at the beginning of the day, as part of the ticket price. Please note that this list is subject to change until the speaker lineup is fully confirmed. You can choose from:

Will lunch be provided?
Yes, lunch will be provided and is part of the ticket price. The day will also include a refreshments break.

Which precautions are you taking to ensure delegates’ safety during the event?
To allow for social distancing, we are currently operating at a third of the venue’s capacity. Hand gel will be available throughout the venue, and we are asking all attendees to have a lateral flow ahead of the event. Anyone who cannot show us a recent negative lateral flow test result at the entrance will be refused access. We will also be using the Track and Trace system.
