What is InnerTapp?

“What teachers know, what studies show”

With thousands of teachers answering daily questions on Teacher Tapp, we now have access to a rich picture of what’s really happening in classrooms; from what teachers are thinking and feeling to how they’re responding to emerging trends. InnerTapp videos

We’re covering the issues that matter most to educators today. The sort of questions that shape staffroom discussions, policies and practice. Each video is short, snappy and packed with practical takeaways for school leaders, teachers and policymakers alike.

What Do Teachers Want From CPD?

Despite best intentions, teachers don’t always find CPD useful. INSET and training days often tick boxes for leaders but leave classroom teachers frustrated. The problem isn’t that teachers don’t want development; they do. But they want CPD that feels relevant and practical, that helps them improve in the classroom rather than drowning them in admin.

Mobile Phones in Schools

Often, school mobile phone policies miss the mark. Rules are tightened, but teachers still battle constant disruptions, while students find ways to sneak phones into lessons. Schools need policies that are practical, enforceable, and proven to reduce distractions.

Behaviour Barometer

Teachers know that student behaviour can make or break a lesson. Yet, too often, school policies and support systems are insufficient, leaving teachers to struggle with disruption that saps morale and learning time.

EdTech: What to trust and what gets in the way

echnology is unavoidable in the classroom and can be a real help with streamlining lessons and improving student outcomes. But not all tech is made equal. So, what works, and what should you avoid?

Upcoming InnerTapp Topics

InnerTapp episodes will cover a variety of topics including why teachers and senior leaders see things differently – what causes the gap in perspectives and how can we bridge it for better decision-making and school culture?
