Dr Jonathan Firth is a Principal Teaching Fellow at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, and previously worked as a secondary school teacher. His research interests include the psychology of cognition and metacognition, study skills, learning theories, and the cognitive basis of creativity. He has written several education books, most recently ‘Creativity for Teachers: A Cognitive Science Approach’ (co-authored by Claire Badger) and ‘Metacognition and Study Skills: A Guide for Teachers’, both published by Routledge/David Fulton.
