We’re excited to announce the launch of a brand new video series: InnerTapp. This is a collaboration between InnerDrive and Teacher Tapp.
Launching at the start of the next academic year, this series brings together two trusted voices in education to explore what teachers know and what studies show.
With thousands of teachers answering daily questions on Teacher Tapp, we now have access to a rich picture of what’s really happening in classrooms; from what teachers are thinking and feeling to how they’re responding to emerging trends. InnerDrive’s mission has always been to translate and illuminate research in an inspiring and impactful way. InnerTapp blends the two: teacher voice and research evidence, side by side.
Topics We’ll Explore
We’re covering the issues that matter most to educators today. The sort of questions that shape staffroom discussions, policies and practice. Each video is short, snappy and packed with practical takeaways for school leaders, teachers and policymakers alike. Upcoming episodes will include:
Why teachers and senior leaders see things differently: What causes the gap in perspectives, and how can we bridge it for better decision-making and school culture?
How teachers feel about professional development: Are we getting CPD right? What types do teachers value most, and how does this match up with what research says is most effective?
Mobile phones in schools: What are schools currently doing, and what does the evidence say about the impact phones have on learning?
The rise of AI: Is it a friend or foe to teachers? How are educators feeling about it, and what does research suggest about its potential and pitfalls?

“At Teacher Tapp we see what’s frustrating every day. But when people ask us what the evidence says about improving the situation, that isn’t always so easy for us to answer. Teaming up with InnerDrive connects the dots. And like us, they’re a fan of snappy info that doesn’t take a lot of time – so it’s the perfect collab!”
Laura McInerney of Teacher Tapp
“We love the energy and the way Teacher Tapp works. Partnering with them makes perfect sense, as amplifying the voice of teachers and combining it with findings from research helps us all make better decisions, which can help improve the education landscape.”
Edward Watson from InnerDrive

Why InnerTapp Matters
In education, decisions are better when they’re informed by both data and dialogue. Too often, research and real-world teaching feel disconnected. InnerTapp is our way of bringing them together. We want to shine a light on what’s happening in schools, ask better questions, and start better conversations.
Coming September 2025
The first episode drops at the start of the 2025/26 academic year. Keep an eye on our socials and emails. InnerTapp: What teachers know. What studies show.
